Pifuo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pifuo handles information when you use the app to import, crop, rotate, preview, and export PDF files or images on your device.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the mobile app, its local document tools, and any support or purchase flows that are part of the app experience. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or files that you choose to open after leaving the app.

2. Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the app, you may choose to provide files, images, scans, and other documents for import and processing. You may also send support requests, feedback, or purchase-related messages.

The app may receive permission-based access to your Files, Photos, or the share sheet when you choose to import content from those sources.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information you choose to provide to:

• import and display documents for preview and editing;
• detect page boundaries and reduce white margins;
• apply crop, rotation, sizing, and export settings you select;
• process files locally on your device whenever possible;
• respond to support requests and maintain app operations; and
• manage purchase entitlements and restore access to paid features.

4. Local Processing and Platform Services

Pifuo is designed as a local document tool. We do not build the app around cloud sync, account profiles, OCR, or a remote document library.

Some features depend on Apple platform services, including file access, photo access, sharing, and in-app purchase processing. Those services are governed by Apple and the permissions you approve on your device.

5. Purchases and Paid Features

The app may offer one-time in-app purchases through the App Store. Apple processes those transactions, and we may receive purchase status, receipt information, and entitlement details needed to unlock paid features.

We do not intentionally collect your full payment card details through the app.

6. Retention and Security

Files that you import are intended to stay on your device until you delete them, export them, or remove the app. If you contact support, we may retain the message and related records for as long as needed to respond and maintain our records.

We use reasonable safeguards designed for a consumer mobile app, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You remain responsible for reviewing sensitive files before exporting or sharing them.

7. Your Choices

You can choose which files to import, which permissions to grant, which pages to edit, and where to export the finished PDF. You can also manage some data permissions through your device settings.

If you want to stop using the app, you can delete its local data by removing the app and any exported files from your device or cloud storage locations you control.

8. Children's Privacy

Pifuo is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly target or request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can review the matter.

9. Updates and Contact

We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or platform services change. The revised version will take effect when posted in the app or on the relevant support page.
